Nikon is going to release new entry-level L-series model. The CoolPix L23 is 10.1 Megapixel and has 5x zoom NIKKOR lens and a 2.7-inch LCD display. Use AA-size alkaline, lithium or rechargeable Ni-MH batteries.
The L23 feature Electronic VR image stabilization, ISO 80-1600, Face detection, Easy Auto Mode and the Smart Portrait System and VGA 640×480 movie recording capability. The CoolPix L23 will be available in the UK for GBP70 in pink, silver, black, and red and blue.
