HP introduces 2 new IPS LCD displays, the 20-inch 2011xi and the 23-inch 2311xi, these are the company’s first consumer displays to feature IPS panel technology. Both monitors provide wide viewing angles of 178-degree for both vertical and horizontal. They boast mercury-free LED-backlighting. The 2011xi has 1600×900 resolution and the 2311xi has 1920×1080 Full HD resolution. They both offer 1000:1 static and 3,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratios, 250cd/m2 brightness and 7ms response rate. The models have DVI-D and VGA inputs, and the 2311xi adds HDMI. HP’s 2011xi and 2311xi prices are $169.99 and $239.99, respectively.
