Nikon declared a latest compact digital camera, the CoolPix P300 with a usually crafted f/1.8 NIKKOR aperture lens that used High Refractive index glass to bring quick images with high contrast. The camera is set with the EXPEED C2 Image Processing Engine and a 12.2 Megapixel back light CMOS image sensor and its lens offers 4.2x optical zoom and 24mm extensive angle.
The CoolPix P300 features Len shift shaking drop, ISO up to 3200, high-speed continuous shooting at about 8fps, Easy Panorama mode, filter effects and Night Landscape mode. It also contain HDR (high dynamic range) setting that shoots three uninterrupted shots at varying exposure and unite the three for a single photo with no loss of detail in highlights or shadows, and a broader range of tones. The P300 has a 3-inch LCD display. The Nikon CoolPix P300 records Full HD 1920×1080 video at 30fps and offers HDMI connector. Coming in March 2011, the P300 will be available in black for $329.95.
