Asus introduces the Zenbook Prime UX31A Ultrabooks in US. It is powered by the latest 3rd Gen Core Ivy Bridge processor. The classy Zenbook measures just 3mm at its thinnest part and comes with a precision-crafted aluminum chassis. The UX31A-DB51 and UX31A-DB52 both are equipped with Intel Core i5-3317 processor, and the UX31A-AB71 and UX31A-AB72 is more powerful with a Core i7-3517 CPU. All of them come with integrated HD 4000 graphics.
The Zenbooks come with 13.3-inch Full HD 1920×1080 IPS LCD display and offer micro HDMI and VGA output as well as Intel Wireless Display support. They have built-in speakers and microphone and are enhanced with Bang & Olufsen ICEpower technology. They also support HD webcam, SD card reader, backlit keyboard two USB 3.0 ports, as well as Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n connectivity. The UX31A-DB72 and UX31A-DB52 adds Trusted Platform Module (TPM) and is loaded with Windows 7 Professional instead of Home Premium. The Zenbook Prime UX31A starts at $1149.99.
